What is Synergi Smart Climate?
Synergi Smart Climate is one of the first free products on the market to optimize the use of air-source heat pumps, smart AC controllers, and smart heaters based on the real-time price of electricity. It's designed to be user-friendly, requiring no additional equipment or installer visits to operate.
With Synergi Smart Climate, you can control your heating and cooling according to spot prices. Synergi Smart Climate works with devices such as air source heat pumps, smart heaters, smart thermostats and AC remote controls - check all our supported brands and models here.
To start using Smart Climate, download the Synergi app and create an account. Then connect a supported brand and model by using your device credentials. Lastly, set your target average temperature which will serve as the basis for the optimization, and turn on Smart Climate in the app.
Synergi Smart Climate can be used by anyone with a supported brand & model in Europe regardless of the energy company you use!

How does Synergi Smart Climate work?
Based on your information, Synergi will automatically optimize your device's temperature based on real-time energy prices. In practice, as prices rise, the target temperature you enter in the app is slightly lowered, reducing the device's energy consumption.
When energy prices fall, the temperature of your device increases. All this is done without compromising the comfort of your indoor environment. Optimizing your heating according to energy prices will help you save on your electricity costs, saving you up to 20% on your overall heating & cooling device electricity costs.
Please note that when Synergi Smart Climate momentarily lowers the target temperature of your device, it can make other heating appliances in your home run at a higher pace during this time.

What devices does Synergi Smart Climate support?
To use Smart Climate, you'll need a WiFi-enabled Synergi-supported heating or cooling device, like an air source heat pump, smart heater, thermostat, or AC remote control.
Synergi Smart Climate directly supports WiFi-enabled air source heat pumps from Mitsubishi, Panasonic, Daikin, and Toshiba, as well as Adax heaters. Check the full list of supported brands and models here.
If your air source heat pump doesn’t have WiFi, you can still connect it using a Sensibo, a WiFi-enabled remote controller that costs around €90. Sensibo lets you link non-WiFi air source heat pumps to Synergi and is available online or at local electronics stores.
