Synergi is joining smartEn to help transform consumer participation in demand-side flexibility in Europe. smartEn brings together technology, service, and research professionals committed to improving energy system efficiency and driving decarbonization.

Synergi’s mission is clear: to make consumers active contributors to grid stability across Europe. We're developing an app that helps users optimize energy use, reduce costs, and participate in energy markets.

But today, there are several bottlenecks that make consumers' participation in the wholesale, reserve and local flexibility markets for demand-side resources very difficult:

• Most European countries lack frameworks for independent energy aggregators
• Consumers are largely excluded from wholesale energy markets
• Dynamic pricing lacks consumer adoption Europe-wide

Since smartEn provides an excellent ground to help shape policy, produce knowledge and act a single voice for market players, Synergi aims to:
